The Altronic EZRail system provides operators of natural gas engines with a factory-built and tested ignition wiring and coil mounting solution for use in conjunction with almost any Altronic ignition system. These systems eliminate costly, custom on-site ignition wiring header fabrication and the reliability and long-term service and maintenance issues associated with them. Where required, they also provide a convenient, well-supported means of mounting the system ignition coils. In the same way that the ignition system, harnesses, coils, and spark plugs are purchased by part number, an engine-specific ignition rail header can now be purchased from Altronic by part number. With extended, trouble-free service as the design and manufacturing goal, premium materials are used in the construction. Anodized aluminum extrusions, stainless-steel hardware, militarystyle potted connectors, and strain-relieved wiring assemblies are a standard part of each EZRail system. Many EZRail systems also include a unique, sealed junction box that offers access to the #1 ignition coil primary and the system shutdown lead. The connectorized nature of the system allows for quick removal in the event that on-engine mechanical service work is required. Most Altronic ignition systems are supported by the EZRail system, including Altronic III, V, CD200, DISN 800C, CPU95, II-CPU, and CPU2000. EZRail systems are designed to be used with either shielded or unshielded primary and secondary cables, and with any Altronic ignition coil. The ignition coils can be attached to the wiring rail using an optional bolt-on coil rail to the back of the wiring rail itself or mounted directly to the engine.
- Factory-manufactured and tested ignition wiring and coil mounting system Suitable for use with Altronic III, V, CD200, DISN 800C, CPU-95, II-CPU, and CPU-2000
- Systems Dramatically reduces cost associated with on-site ignition header and coil mounting bracket fabrication and maintenance
- All wires are strain-relieved and wiring connections are fully-potted for extended service life and reliability
- Utilizes standard ignition primary cables and ignition coils insuring convenient global access to required spares
- MS-connectorized system can be easily uninstalled to insure simple on-engine maintenance
- CSA certified for use in Class I, Division 2, Group C and D hazardous environments
